ClientBodhi Citta Buddhist Centre is a non-sectarian Buddhist Centre situated in the Cairns beachside suburb of Yorkeys Knob. The Centre - which runs talks, retreats and meditations - is a home for Buddhist teachings from all traditions including Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana. Bodhi Citta is a completely non-profit organisation whose mission is to make the Buddhist Dharma teachings available in Far North Queensland.Service Date2004Project OverviewBodhi Citta Buddhist Centre needed a simple site that was an information source for geographically diverse viewers. The Centre runs a wide variety of events and activities including talks, meditation and celebrations. Keeping the site's postings current and accurate is essential and RuttenTech's Site Update Service is welcomed by the Centre. The site was also designed to be a place for people to find out more about the Centre, as well as fulfilling Bodhi Citta's mission statement to provide the dharma to people of the Far North. To this end, the site is a library which holds past talks and lectures of the Centre's teacher Lawrence Khantipalo. As a not for profit organisation Bodhi Citta needed a site that was within their budget.
