ClientThe Environmental Defenders Office of Northern Queensland is a non-profit, non-government community legal centre specialising in public interest environmental law. EDO-NQ is the only independent regional office in the Australian Network of EDOs, which actively works together to protect and conserve the national environment in the public interest. Service Date2003 (Traditional Website), 2008 Project OverviewRuttenTech originally developed EDO-NQ's website in 2003. In 2008, the EDO-NQ decided they would like to take advantage of the flexibility that a dynamic website can offer and approached RuttenTech to make this possible, however they were still happy with their current design / look and feel. The new EDO-NQ website utilises the same design from the 2003 website. On the surface, it looks as if very little has changed. However, now the EDO-NQ have the ability to add, edit and delete pages without the aid of a programmer. The EDO-NQ have also taken advantage of RuttenTech's CMS training services to learn this new system. With the knowledge they have gained, they can quickly and easily keep their website up to date.
