ClientMichael Halenko is a Cairns local who is involved in the aboriginal art industry. After selling various artworks for many years, he noticed that new artists had trouble gaining exposure, with many galleries tending to focus on established, published artists. Michael started this project to assist new artists to gain that initial exposure in a commercial sense by creating a poster from original aboriginal art. Service Date
2009 Project OverviewAs an emerging business, Michael approached us to help develop his web presence. Working within a strict budget, we helped advise Michael on the best way to "stage" his web development as required. Starting with a simple holding-page, we assisted with domain names and a one page website, which has grown to an (extended) page with designs, photos and links. It's a great project that aims to benefit artists directly in their communities - we are looking forward to continuing to work with Michael and help expand the Aboriginal Posters website over time.
