ClientDeepreef Explorer is the website for the team of ocean mapping scientists headed up by Marine Geologist Dr Robin Beaman. The team is working to reveal the underwater landscape of the northern Australia seabed: from the tropical seas of the Great Barrier Reef, to the deep abyss and oceanic atolls of the Coral Sea.

2009 Project OverviewRobin already had a working web presence, but was looking to improve on the custom made CMS system that he already was using. The full featured Joomla Content Management system was the ideal choice - with several additions to allow mapping, galleries and file downloads. The new CMS allows Dr Beaman to update his site anywhere in the world, from balmy Cairns to the rolling Antarctic seas!
