2009 Project OverviewThe WiS e-network had been working for some time, using freely available tools such as google-groups to house their online community. As their community developed, they found that they needed their own online home, and approached RuttenTech to help. While a website based on a template was a perfect choice for the group, they found that they had no existing branding, but had a good idea of what they would like. RuttenTech were able to assist with some graphic design to make their logo ideas a reality. With two versions of their logo developed, we added this to their website which makes use of the core Joomla CMS plus some add-on gallery features. After a short training course - the Women in Sugar e-network were up and running - managing their own content, photos and downloads easily. This means they can spend less time managing their online systems and spend more time supporting women in the sugar industry.
