As the peak body representing the region, Gulf Savannah Development inc (GSD) work in the the Gulf Savannah region in north Queensland. With the region being seen as a vibrant area of investment growth, economic opportunity and a unique tourist destination, GSD needed a website which could showcase the diverse features of this area.

Project Overview

With a website that is loaded with large amounts of information, the new GSD website needed a system that would allow visitors to easily find what they were looking for. A dynamic menu system and a series of blog layouts allow the staff at GSD to update and add information while keeping site navigation simple.

The initial design is based on an existing template to reduce development time and cost - but keeping all the power and flexibility of a content management system. The site is easy to maintain and update with large amounts of text while the ability to easily add images helps to keep the site fresh and engaging.  A banner /  rotator was added to add a dynamic element to the site, and re-enforce some of the positive messages on the site.
