ClientThe On Edge Contemporary Media + Performance is an annual program of contemporary arts in Cairns which strives to produce a Nationally and Internationally relevant program of independent new work. The festival includes various disciplines of performance, sound, screen, new media and installation. On Edge is produced by independent artists Nicholas Mills and Russell Milledge & Rebecca Youdell, and is presented across a variety of venues and locations in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia. 2009 Project OverviewAfter going to some of the local "submerged" performances in Cairns, Rob met with Nick to see how RuttenTech might be able to help support the local arts community. The shiny new website was the result of our own artistic collaboration! Donated by RuttenTech, the On Edge website is powered by the Joomla! CMS system, which allows for program updates, images and event news. The system is fast and easy to edit - with a short training course at the RuttenTech offices, Nick was updating the website easily. The festival was a great success - and RuttenTech is looking forward to continuing our support of the arts in FNQ. Well done Nick, Russell and Rebecca!
