New Client Portal

After a couple of months of trialling new software - we are proud to announce the launch of our new client portal. Found at:

http://portal.ruttentech.com

the new client center allows our clients to access special services 24 hours a day. Thanks to Matt & Joyce for their hard work in getting the system up and running, I can now take some time off eh?

Now - where is that hammock ?

The RuttenTech client portal allows you to access billing information, support services and even manage your products/systems. Some of the new features are:

  • View / print past invoices
  • Pay your invoices online
  • Manage your hosting accounts (eg. statistics, edit email accounts, FTP access etc..)
  • Register new domains
  • View our "knowledgebase" of support information
  • Access our special "Downloads" section
  • View past emails with our "Customer Service Robot" (we keep him locked in the basement)
  • Change your contact & billing details
  • Submit support questions via our new super support ticketing system !

The support tickets are particularly useful as each time a ticket is lodged a notification is sent to all our staff. A very handy feature that allows someone to get in touch with you quickly.

How to log in

Logging into the client portal is easy! Just follow the steps:

  1. Visit http://portal.ruttentech.com
  2. Enter your email address in the login box on the left hand side
  3. Enter your password in the login box on the left hand side
  4. Click on "Login" - done !

What if I don't have a password?

All new clients are sent a "welcome email" automatically with their login details included. You can use these details at any time to log in to the client portal. If you have misplaced it, or if you have been with us since before email - then you can get your password in two ways

Automatic Retrieval

We can't give passwords out over the phone, as we are paranoid that we are being phone tapped by the CIA. Actually, there is a better way to do it - just go to the client portal and use the "login" link in the top right. On the next screen you can just follow the link to "have you forgotten your password" and the system will just email your password out to you. You will have to enter your email address - if it matches the one on our system, you will get a nice email from our robot! To make life easier - you can also just click on the link below...

Well - failing that, you can always email us and get a real person to help you out. Make sure that you email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so that our team is alerted to your message. The good news is that one of our friendly staff will re-send the welcome email with passwords etc.. The downside is that you will have to wait till real-person working hours for us to help you... only the robot works 24/7 !
