The Mareeba RSL is the local venue for today’s workshop run as part of the Tablelands Small Business Online program. Rob and Nicky (cityofcairns.com.au) have been giving workshops across the tablelands with the topics of "Why go online" and "Website & Internet basics".
 A federal government initiative, the Small Business Online (SBO) program is aimed at assisting small businesses to either get online, or be more effective with their existing online presence.
The local group that we have here today represents a diverse cross-section of the local community - and although they might not think they are online gurus, Rob has been very impressed with the questions they have been asking... Talk about keeping us on our toes!
