Robert leads the RuttenTech team and is focussed on working in partnership with the client to design and build technology based solutions. He has a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University, Western Australia. Robert spent 8 years training farmers in the application of business software to transform their accounting practices. He provided independent advice so that rural clients could make the most of their businesses.

Robert lives in Cairns (QLD), loves his espresso machine, listening to vinyl records, rides a bicycle to work and has a regular radio talk-back segment on the ABC (RadioGeek) providing computer advice to people around Far North Queensland.

Matt Fenn

Matt is the team's programmer and has been with the company since July 2005. He makes software and web-based applications using creativity to solve any technical challenge.

Matt graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor in Computer Science. He has been working with information technology for 10+ years in industries ranging from defence to tourism. An example of his work was the creation of a web site that automatically loaded individual agent details to a tour product catalogue site. This reduced the loss of custom from the agent to the tour operator, resulting in increased profits to the agents and exposure for the operator.

Joyce Mar

Joyce is one of the team's core website developers and has been with the RuttenTech since July 2007. She has joined us full-time since finishing her Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Information Technology at James Cook University. Having worked on a number of programming projects in the past, Joyce brings a fresh approach and new depth to our technical skillset - working predominantly in Content Management Systems and website programming roles.

A "born and bred" local to Cairns, Joyce is also enjoys a hobby of photography. Recently finishing a year long programming project for the Red Cross, Joyce's efforts have helped automate their customer systems, saving time and effort in the daily operations of their accommodation centre.

Ashika Mala

Ashika is the latest member of the RuttenTech team as of August 2011 and contributes to the company in an administrative and accounts role. She is available 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Originally from the beautiful hidden paradise of Fiji Island, Ashika has been in Cairns for the last 4 years and is enjoying herself.
