MosNewsWriter

We were using the MosNewsWriter module written by Chanh Ong for a Joomla site. It wasn't working quite right for apostrophes and other punctuation so we gave it a little tweak.  Credits to the authors, Chanh Ong for the original code, and Matthew Fenn for the puctuation tweak.

VPS Cleanup Script

This handy little script is mostly for sys admins who are looking after their own server.  While logs, temp files and other bits are all part of server life - this disk space is at a premium.  Some (like temp files) are not required after installation, some files like user account "trash" files can add up when stored indefinitely and some files like "log backups" can easily be stored on a less expensive system.

This is definitely a work-in progress - please check back for more details.  If you like it, or if you have any requests, comments or suggestions - please feel free to contact us. All feedback will be taken on board - some may even be answered!

This is realeased under the GPL - and it is expressly released with all care taken - and no responsibility.  This is a script that deletes stuff, and uses "root" permissions.  If you really don't know what that means, then you might want to give it a miss!  (sorry)  Please read the "notes" text file in the download for more info and installation instructions.
