Client: Northern Experience Eco Tours are a small, locally operated ecotourism operation. Based in Cairns and run by couple Brett and Susan Quinn this independently run company aims to take small groups to some of the most beautiful places in the Far North. Slowly building up their business, the Quinns needed a flexible site that was easy expand as their business grew.

Scope: Creating a web presence was a great start for the small family company. An e-card was the way onto the net for the small business and it has provided them with all the advantages of a web presence at an affordable price. RuttenTech designed the e-card to be consistent with Northern Experience's existing promotional material, which means their "brand" is easily recognisable across a variety of media.

When the Quinn's purchased Northern Experience Eco Tours, the previous owner had already registered the domain name. RuttenTech assisted the Quinns to register the domain themselves and provides ongoing hosting and domain registration for them as well as providing an email service.

As Northern Experience is a growing business, it was essential for the Quinns that their site could grow as their business did. Plans for site expansion already involved ideas such as electronic contact pages, e-registration services and online booking systems. RuttenTech will provide ongoing web support for the Quinns to make sure their site works as hard as they do.

Cairns is an international destination and an e-card was the perfect marketing tool for Northern Experience. In the Quinns' own words, "Northern Experience is independently owned, has operated since 1997 and is the "original tour" to Paronella Park. Northern Experience stands alone in high quality specialist touring and professionalism in this area. We give you a fantastic, informative and fun day out."
