Project Scope: NSDA are an organisation devoted to the principles of sustainable agriculture. Their website is the hub of a diverse and growing membership - many of whom have received training so they can contribute to the site - making it a dynamic, member driven, electronic communications centre.

The site acts as an archive, forum, administrator, news office and contact point. The Joomla! powered system makes it perfect for the NSDA collective as each member can personally maintain their section of the site, and therefore contribute to the whole. The NSDA site is an elegant tool - providing the trilogy of functionality, aesthetics and precision engineering. This is borne out in the Hierarchical Access Function, one of the hallmarks of a Joomla! powered site. Providing security for those who need it, the HAF means that only certain members of the operating team can access specialised site points, while others are open to general members or the public.

An organisation such as NSDA which has many different operators is highly advantaged by these various levels of access. RuttenTech provided NSDA with a forum, also under HAF auspices and a newsletter component that is completely managed by the cutting edge Joomla Content Management System.
